Hanford High School Marching Band

The marching band is one of Hanford's most esteemed ensembles. Since 2008, the HHS Marching Band has grown with the program, from 50 members, to about 190 members, and has won numerous awards. As of 2012, the Hanford Marching Band has won sweepstakes winner at the 2012, 2013, and 2015 Harvest Festival in Yakima. The ensemble has also won first place at the Cavalcade of Bands in Pasco for the past few years, and took sweepstakes in 2017 at the WSU Marching Band Championships in Pullman, also scoring the highest ever in Hanford history, with a score of 98.24. In years to come, Hanford's Marching Band hopes to see a chance to march in the Rose Parade, and, perform on the regional level at the Bands of America Regional Marching Band Championships, in St. George, Utah.

To join the marching band, sign up on Charms, and show up to band camp which takes in the first two weeks of August. This is an unauditioned ensemble that anyone can join, and payments are processed quarterly.
